VerifyPass is the primary military-status verification method before members can match. The .mil route is secondary, optional, and available only for members who prefer it; it is never required to join. The .mil address is never stored, and no messages are ever sent to it; it confirms domain access only—not identity, rank, unit, component, or length of service. Verification confirms military status only and is not a guarantee of identity, safety, or anyone's exact rank, unit, or service history. Upgrade when you want more filters, more photos, and unlimited video chat with your matches.

Verification limits

VerifyPass is the primary verification method for military-status verification. An optional secondary method uses a .mil email address if you prefer. The .mil address is never stored, and no messages are ever sent to it. The check confirms domain access only—not identity, rank, unit, component, or length of service. The .mil route is never required to join.

Verification confirms military status only and is not a guarantee of identity, safety, or anyone's exact rank, unit, or service history. BattleBuddies does not run criminal-history or sex-offender checks; military-status verification is not a background check.
